| Brian,
I see on you WEB page that you have some photos of how to mount a GPS in a car. I have been using the below method for some time now. Has the advantage of being able to be used in any car.
The devise is a Mobile Phone holder that I purchased at Supercheap Auto Accessories for about $20 . It basically is only a padded clamp. A flat part is ment to glue, via double sided tape, to the dashboard somewere. This flat part clips on to the clamp part. I purchased 4 suction caps that I put, in holes I drilled in the 4 corners of the flat part. Unfortunatly only 2 of the suction caps can be used at any time because they overlap the ones beside them. This has worked out ok because which two suction caps I use depends on which way I want the GPS to face. The Driver or the Passenger . In 1,000's K's of driving it has only ever fallen off if I have not attached it correctly. A small amount of moisture is required between the suction caps and the Windscreen. It rearly obstructs driving vision and even though I have an old Serial Garmin GPS38 once I get a fix it is usally maintained. Occasionally I have also used it on the back Winscreen It is a realitive inexpensive way of mounting any small hand held GPS in virtually any car , can be easly adjusted so any car occupant can see the GPS and is easly moved from one car to another.
